I don’t really like convertibles...but I kinda really want a Targa GTS. Also, my 2 year old hasn’t quite mastered the word “convertible,” so any time he sees an open top car he says, “Look a convertabertable!”

Quick question for you Tom: I test drove an 08 M3 today. Afterward the salesman apologizes saying someone else put a deposit on the vehicle last night and he hadn’t been informed. However he would call me if the sale didn’t go through. Is this common or some sort of dealer tactic you have seen? Or is this just a misfortune conicidence?

Sometimes this just happens...salespeople don’t always communicate, messages don’t get sent. If he was able to sell you the car right then, he would have.
